Sitting nearby is a buxom woman that Zeke wants to impress. Zeke, Cole's best friend, sits at a seedy New Marais bar as Festival of Blood unfolds. In Festival of Blood, the main character is still Cole, but he's. In fact, you could conceivably play it without having any familiarity with Sucker Punch's franchise at all and still get something out of it. But as you'll find out when you watch its intro, Festival of Blood doesn't tell a subplot that's at all important to your enjoyment of the game that inspired it. Throwing gamers back into the fictional New Orleans-inspired city known as New Marais, Festival of Blood takes place during the events of Infamous 2.

Initially announced at GamesCom in Germany this past August, Festival of Blood isn't Infamous 2 DLC per se, but rather a full game in its own right, one that you'll download directly off of the PlayStation Network when it's released on October 25. There's little more Infamous fans could ask for from the Infamous 2 experience.īut it's this lack of a natural fit for DLC that makes Festival of Blood so fascinating. It tells its plot pretty well on its own, and regardless of if you took the good or bad ending (or both), you got a lot of bang for your buck in bringing Cole MacGrath through his second dedicated story on the PS3. Players who want to find every collectible can expect to invest over 100 hours into these adventures.Unlike some titles on PlayStation 3 like LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3 or Resistance 3, Infamous 2 wouldn't strike many as a game that needs DLC. All three titles on this compilation provide over 50 hours of gameplay. The removal of the karma system allows players to fully embrace their dark side and terrorize the town of New Marais.If you've ever wanted to check out this franchise, this is the game for you. Unlike the previous games, this expansion pack has no karma gameplay mechanic. Cole will wield all new weapons and abilities thanks to his vampire curse. To rid himself of this curse, he must search for and defeat the head vampire. Lastly, you'll also receive a special set of missions that are only available on this disc.The Festival of Blood game was originally a standalone expansion pack for inFamous 2."This title features an alternate timeline where Cole turns into a vampire. You'll get access to four brand new weapons and four new abilities. Players will have three new costumes to choose from, all inspired by the first game.

This PS3 collection includes all of the DLC releases on the disc. Cole can use his abilities to destroy his enemies or to traverse the environment quickly. This PS3 game is also in the action genre. While Cole can still wield lightning, he'll also add the powers of ice and fire to his repertoire. This sequel leaves the confines of Empire City for the city of New Marais.

The second game in the series again follows Cole. The ending will also change depending on the choices you make. Players who fight for good will find their powers more suited towards healing. Go for the evil path, and you'll get powers rooted more in destruction. As your karma swings in one direction, your abilities will change to reflect your choices. At various points in the game, you can use your powers for either good or evil. You will choose whether Cole becomes a hero or a villain in this story. Because of the explosion in Empire City, the government has sectioned off the city from the rest of the world. He can also siphon electricity from nearby objects such as cars and street lamps. Cole now has the ability to shoot lightning from his fingers. Somehow, Cole survives the blast, but not without a few changes to his DNA. A seemingly harmless delivery explodes, devastating a city block in the process. This compilation of inFamous titles had a release date of 2012.In the first inFamous, a bike courier named Cole MacGrath is in the wrong place at the wrong time. The publisher of the inFamous Collection is Sony Computer Entertainment. All three games were developed by Sucker Punch Productions. Included in this collection is the original inFamous, its sequel, inFamous 2, and the Festival of Blood DLC pack. These games are identical to their first release on the PlayStation 3 console.
